The beginner workshops at Louvart Atelier start again in September. In the three-hour Getting Started workshops, you will learn everything you need to know to be able to work independently with a sewing machine. Afterwards, you can attend further workshops to deepen your skills or simply start experimenting and practicing on your own. We have everything you need ready for you at the Atelier – including a growing stock of fabrics!
In the two-day beginner workshop, you will sew your first project on the second day. This could be a cosmetic bag or a simple skirt, for example.
New to the program is the Getting to know the Overlock workshop. In this evening workshop, I show you how to use the overlock machine to finish your seams or sew jersey projects.
Monica will be teaching an extensive series of pattern drafting workshops starting in fall. In these workshops you learn how to create and develop basic patterns for skirts, trousers and tops according to your own measurements.
If you want to get started right away, you should join one of Jasmin’s Sewing Nights. At the Sewing Nights in summer, you sew elegant shorts in a relaxed atmosphere. After the work is done, the success is celebrated with drinks and music!
