We’ll cover essential finishes like the zigzag stitch for preventing fraying, French seams for delicate fabrics, and flat-felled seams for extra durability. You’ll also explore the mock flat-felled seam, a great alternative for achieving a similar look with less effort.

In addition to seam finishes, we’ll dive into gathering and ruffles, adding fun and decorative elements to your sewing. You’ll practice basic gathering techniques using basting stitches and experiment with creating ruffles.
